Finally I got my… rat tail, for my gun.
Not very happy.

I think it’s cool, goes well with the ogryn cosmetics that have dead rats on them
As an idea I agree, but in practice, in my 1k+ hours of play, Iv never, ever noticed the dangly thing on anyones weapons.
This is a terribad prize for an event, worse than a frame.
Should have been 500 Aquilas.
Trinkets as a concept are a bit underwhelming I guess, they’re barely noticable. Would rather have had skins in general (like how VT2 had a lot of free ones and event reward ones)
You will wear your verminpride and you will like it.
you’re more likely to notice brightly colored or glowing ones. when you notice them at all, mostly in elevators or airlocks.
at one point the witches fingers didn’t resize properly on combat knife so it was one of my favorites for looking like a pair of messed up nunchuks. they fixed it and I went back to my tiny gold thunderhammer (the only good free reward all these twitch skins look like textures haven’t loaded crap). all the other trinkets I have are from the time they came in character skin packs along with weapon skins. this rat tail is ugly but at least more noticeable than the average. but the reward of this weekly is actually playing it, when it’s angry ogryns and you can get permanent celerity stim in the background.
Agree… trinkets are “cool”, but the position of them should change, so you can actually enjoy them.
I think that’s overpriced for a single rat tail. ![]()
I like them as just a little detail to round up my character’s style for myself. I never expected anyone else to notice them. ![]()
ogryn happy
ogryn says not tail but worm
worm for te qui la
only gen u ine with da worm
Not disagreeing of course, but this event in particular would have been their perfect test to offer 2 rewards based on the final outcome. So since they didn’t choose to do that, yea, it should have been aquilas like always.
Seriously FS, is 100 aquilas per event gonna crash your company or skyrocket engagement and good will and increase spending by non-whales? It’s called an investment, look it up.
I don’t think it’s the people at FS being stupidly greedy here. At some point, one has to back away, sit down and think “Are they genuinely so incompetent/dumb/greedy to be making such financial decisions, especially after operating for so long?”.
I’m confident Tencent is responsible for all this Aquila madness (both speaking about the premium shop and the events).
GGG is owned by Tencent aswell, yet PoE1 is f2p, PoE2 will be f2p on release. All mtx-s or stash tabs you buy in PoE1 are also transfered in PoE2 for free.
There also some free cosmetics for twitch drops, challenges, like new cosmetics not just recolors. These league reward is meh, but the last one was cool.
Can you imagine all cosmetics people baught in DT will be available for them for free in DT 2 (if there will be a second one)?
So in the end if FS made such a deal they are in a corpo slavery and serve as just a puppet for Tencent now, then who is to blame?
Look at the big companies like they are constanly canceling projects, spending years and millions for stuff like Concord or Skull and Bones, New World?
Why do you think FS would be immune to incompetence and stupidity? Especially considering all their games were released undercooked and spent 2 years fixing gameplay and technical problems.
It’s not like FS was at the level of CDPR during The Witcher 3 era and suddenly released CP2077. That makes sense all problems FS had before are still being there while new appears.
Combination of loving DT and being good willed towards the devs (but it’s also not the devs who make decisions like this, so I’m probably just being naively hopeful).
