Not being able to rescue dead players past "PONR" is dumb

It’s definitely unintended.

Right? It is a bug, right?

I’ve read it as PORN and I’m not dyslexic

Is there someone who didn’t?

I didn’t !

Yes exactly. I still think spawns shouldnt move personally, but it wouldn’t Hurt me 100% if they did. I understand the argument of either having to risk a revive and wipe, or just not wipe and leave 1 player is a bad choice either way. But personally i’m still of the opinion that you can clear most trash or kite around or stall long enough to get ult or use kiting mechanics to res, but i totally understand the issue some players have, i just think you can work around it and if you are forced to drop at a pnr that it’s a bit the players decision making fault, most of the time. That’s why spatnack’s suggestion is a good one, and if they made spawns move i’d like to see that added, so if for example, i made a positioning mistake and i am unable to kite back or stall long enough then i can have a second change by using the pnr

Oh but it does - by lowering his chances to complete the run victoriously.

It’s not the same. Doing a map with 3 players doesn’t punish you as bad or not at all (depending on your players their skill level), as being left behind and having to quit or spectate. But i see what you’re saying.

We were playing on Cata, so yeah, it had an effect on the outcome of the game.
In both of your reasons, all players in the game suffer. It’s not about who suffers more, but rather it makes a bad playing experience for everyone involved.

I agree that both parties suffer, and it’s not a competition about who suffers more.

I wasn’t talking about a specific difficulty, just about personal skill. There are players who are very comfortable doing cata and have no issues doing it with 2 or 3 players, so choosing to
wipe or leave a player would be an easy choice for them. But then you could say the players who are very comfortable wouldn’t rlly be in such a situation alot. butt as you said it’s not a competition about who suffers more, just in general.

Well, I’m one of those, but still - sometimes people get spawned on top of a landslide in Halescourge right when you’re already jumping down, and you have to gg the guy and move on.

I thought every team looked at least 5 minutes at ammo box, then looking around at each other, then finally jumping down.? :^)

Edit: just realised you probably didn’t mean the point just before boss :/. Still kinda works

No, its right after the first grim area where you can go low through a house or high on top of some wrecks, the drop is this small piece of bridge leading to the tome tower square. The respawn point is on top of the wrecks and it is notorious for spawning teammates after you’ve dropped down.

You can jump back up there though, with all careers. Find the solution in the malfunctioning ponr… or was it pron?

I don’t think being able to get back up there is intentional

Most likely is. I don’t mind being able to climb the second drop though.

I don’t think you’re supposed to use the shortcut to get to the grim either, and I think that’s the main problem. The design is likely for a team to stay together and drop together, and then backtrack to the grim. It doesn’t change the fact that it’s a buggy respawn though.
