So this in’t a big deal and clearly not a priority compared to the blatant problems the game has.
But I was kind of disapointed to not get an insigna or a portrait frame to celebrate bringing all four reject class to level 30.
Vtide had a success for bringing the five heroes to 30 so why not have something to reward those who tried it al?

There are unfortunately not many progression related cosmetics, which is really a bummer.
Most “endgame” progression cosmetics are insanse grind avatar frames, like “Finish 500 of X mission type”. I really wish we had more we could unlock by playing the game. So many good opportunities. Finish 150 missions as Ogryn, kill 10000 enemies with the Boltgun, Take down 100 monstosities as psyker. So many good opportunities to reward us with cosmetics, but oh well. I just hope we get a couple of these in the future.
Yeah, you get a shiny Steam achievement you can add to your CV when applying for a job at JP Morgan.

well there isn’t even a steam achievement in DT for this as far as I see.
You get to see the traitor get killed 4 seperate times. This is actually a segway into necromancers, if you only saw them get iced once you wouldn’t clue in that they’re undead. Genius storytelling.

What do the penance points do anyway? Do they make anything happen or are they just a number that goes up?
They’re there to be a tool to weed out tools who think amount of penance points implies skill.
It’s like UNO reverse card; if you think my opinion should be disregarded because I have less PPs than you, it actually means your opinion matters less. That’s the only practical use of them I can see.

There was mention somewhere that there might be things like some cosmetics you can buy with penance points, but it felt like a maybe back then.
I’ve never even seen anyone even talk about them before this thread, let alone try to use them as ego points.
Unfortunate. Unlocking some decent cosmetics through penance points in addition to the penances themselves would alleviate some of the angst around the cash store.
It’ll be nice if we get the marketing/character creator cosmetics.
