Amberley Vail is a moderate puritan inquisitor who falls under Ordos Xenos; while she doesn’t use xenos equipment nor have any xenos in her retinue, she’s generally able and mostly willing to talk it out with xenos to reach a mutually desired outcome. Of course, always towards something that would be more advantageous for the Imperium.
Agreed. Which, on its own, should devalue the class as it’s not an equivalent. Pretty sure Vermintide 2 the DLC classes had the same amount of options.
The Premium classes in VT2 did get some additional paid cosmetics; but they were given for free for the Console players iirc.
Can someone re-open the topic “Worst Experience in Darktide” please? i want to add something…
Grendyl is specifically a potentially radical inquisitor. Also the situation the warband is in would definitely create a good excuse for a more radical push.
I dont know if I WANT xenos but it’s perfectly justifiable in lore, just like almost any other addition you can think of, even orks or space marines. It’s not about “can they” it’s about “should they”
For me personally this is the least interesting choice possible and I won’t buy. The most interesting part about it will be the voice interactions with the arbites.
I hope that some ranged weapons that exist in the game already (like shredder pistols) get a dual wield version as well. And I hope that the ranged dual wield weapons that come with the Scum will also have a single variant that other classes can use.
In Arby’s case it makes sense that their weapons are class locked since they strict Arbitrator equipment but the things that the Scum use can be easily acquired by anyone.
No doubt wishful thinking from my part, though.
Hey it comes one day after my birthday! Neat.
Dual Revolver and Dual Shotpistol marks would be quite nice ![]()
I can only imagine the reload times on those lol
I’m honestly not too upset by this. I play a lot of other games and come back for periods at a a time, so I guess I’m a lot more casual for this game than most here, but I’m off the back of a Cyberpunk 2077 binge, so the aesthetic works for me. All of my class builds are role-play focused, so this adds a bit more in that sense; I can see where it’d fit in my lineup. I haven’t been part of the rumour mill and speculations, and while Admech or Rattling etc would be cool, I’m not dissappointed it’s not that. It’s enough to draw me back and get interested again, I blew the dust off my old classes, and I’m back in and having fun. I guess we’ll see what more information comes out, but for now call my interest piqued.
So yesterday I was playing my beloved and hated Havoc, and I was wondering if I’d wake up tomorrow morning and not see the message about Havoc being unavailable. Maybe the Sharks will figure out that deranging is a stupid and pointless idea, but no, unfortunately, as usual. As usual, they’ll do deranging and nothing in return, and it’s completely pointless. If CMs or Shark representatives are interested, it’s easier for a level 40 host to take unranked players in the new season (for their nerves, etc.) than to go through those 10 levels again, although do FetaSharks really care about anything from players? No. Well done.
