# New characters can't change weapon/curios/cosmetics

This issue happened on all except one character on my friend’s account, he started playing darktide I think around in the last 1 or 2 weeks.  
His veteran(likely his first character) is OK, but all of his later created characters, zealot, psyker, can’t change weapon, curio or cosmetics.

To be precise, he can swap stuff in the inventory UI, but if he close it and open the inventory UI again, all things remains the same before his changes.  
He tried changing character or restart the game, don’t work.

He uses mods but I don’t think it’s a mod issue because there’s no issue on his veteran.  
Also there seems to be more ppl like him, but due to language or other reasons not that much feedback.

Does he happen to have two of the same Curio equipped in separate slots? This will interfere with the saving of loadouts.

Just verified with my friend, he’s now able to change melee/ranged weapon, head and torso in the cosmetics, and titles on his other characters  
but he still can’t change pants, not sure if it is a network thing or a different bug.  
Also his characters haven’t got any curio slot unlocked yet.

Try disabling mods I reckon. 🙂
