EDIT: These suggestions were made with the assumption that Fatshark will go with the easiest and cheapest fix. Let’s be real… they are NOT going to delete an NPC or code an entirely new loot system. Everything listed below should “theoretically” just be minor numerical and UX updates.
Increase prices in the weapon shop. By roughly x10.
- Current Price: 20,000 dockets
- New Price: 200,000 dockets
- Missions continue to reward roughly 20,000 dockets.
Only sell Purple/Orange items in the weapon shop. Rotated daily, not hourly.
- You can grind out 10 matches to immediately buy 1 item that same day.
- You can casually play 2-3 daily matches until you see something worth buying.
- On the weekend, sell one overpriced curated roll that is hand tuned by Fatshark.
Miscellaneous information and opinions.
- 10 successful 20 minute matches = ~3.5 hours
- Above changes will increase both hardcore and casual player retention.
- Grey items can be relegated to the “upcoming” crafting system.
- Green/Blue items can be exclusive to Emperor’s Gifts (with low % of being Purple/Orange).
- Red items can be added later for hardcore players.
