“Fire and blood” indulgence claims to give 5 stacks of bleed and 5 stacks of burn on melee hit, but does not give either. I am surprised noone had mentioned it so I feel like I have to create this topic
Literal description of “Fire and Blood”: Melee attacks apply 5 stacks of bleedin and 5 stacks of burning to enemies.
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
Play Mortis Trials as Veteran on the frozen map with flying cogs in the sky
Fire and Blood is working, it even procced in the attached video clip: the light red burn VFX on the enemy (called bleedfire) is unique to this Mortis Trials buff.
The description of Fire and Blood is inaccurate, though:
It has only a 40% chance to proc on melee hit.
When it procs, it applies a unique DoT effect (hordes_buff_bleeding_and_burning_on_melee_hit_ailment) that stacks only once on a target, ticks every 0.5s and has no duration (i.e. it keeps damaging the target until death).
Per tick, it executes two attacks (using damage profiles from Bleed and Burn) that add up to deal 747.5 base damage (before ADMs).
If you are using the Debuff Indicator mod, this specific DoT effect is currently not supported and will not be displayed by the mod.
