# Microsoft Edge Webview 2 runtime?

Any reason why Microsoft edge webview 2 runtime needs to be installed to run Vermintide 2 ?

I know it’s for the launcher but … I’ve had plenty of game launchers without having to install something else. What’s going on Fatshark?

the game runs just fine if you decline the install.
