Surely we’re getting all colors patched into what little cosmetics we have, right?
I could begrudgingly make a pass for the cash shop stuff, but selling 3 helmets for a class that features 4 Mechanicus factions, and one of the helmets nonsensically having a completely different shade of steel grey?
It’s not bias, it’s just Fatshark unwilling to do a recolour for “free”. I fully expect them (if they are allowed by GW) to sell boring recolours for the other factions in near future. At least with Hive Scum you got gang outfits for free.
for what it’s worth the base classes have like 6 recolors of their free cosmetics complete with variants on the commissary. it’s kinda funny how that got more or less entirely forgotten in favor of giving us 3 strict recolors via penances instead (for some items lol)
At the very least the Skitarii Seeker Hood should have recolors for the other Forge Worlds please.
Casual reminder that in certain F2P games you can recolor cosmetics for free by yourself.
And it’s crazy even to think that GW won’t let them paint consmetics when TT and most of the WH games (DOW, SM, Mark of Chaos, etc) had army painter feature.
