Darktide is one of my favorite shooters, and the gunplay in this game is amazing. I’d love to see Fatshark add a lever action rifle to the game, as it is one of my favorite weapon types, and when done well tends to be one of the best feeling guns in any game. Battlefield 1 probably did it the best so far.

The Agripinaa Mk VII combat shotgun can give a taste of that, reloading solid slugs after every shot.
Could be cool if they did a bounty hunter class. Would fit into a out of hive wandering bounty hunter using rugged weapons sort of vibe. Though that might be a bit too close to the hive ganger (I can think of ways to make it unique but eh), and I don’t think a lever gun would really fit into any other class. The helbore lasgun is kind of like a lever action if you squint hard enough lol.
The Scum has a Bounty Hunter personality.

At the very least, could be a good alternate mark for the Double Barrel shotgun, à la Ogryn’s Kickback/Rumbler.
Having 1 mark that instead of being Shotguns, is a Coach Gun with Slugs or normal rounds.
and maybe a 3rd that replace one of the round with a slug and the other with the shotgun shell, with left/right deciding which round is used

Yes, my hive scum has that personality lol. But they are a hive cartel bounty hunter. I’m talking about a necromunda hired gun style bounty hunter.
It does sort of overlap with hive scum. But they are pretty different things.
Actual bounty hunters or I guess it would be less confusing to refer to them as Manhunters. Are licensed by the Imperium and work officially. Because of that they have much better gear and don’t really fall into the hive gang scrap aesthetic. It would be more like a cross between our hive ganger and the veteran. They would definitely get the power sword and bolter at least.
I’m mostly thinking someone like the outlander from necromunda would fit pretty well with a lever action. Probably a bad example since he isn’t actually licensed.
Hell I’m pretty sure some old bounty hunter models had lever actions on their backs lol.

I enjoy Deadeye rifle in Helldivers 2 a lot, not a single sniper weapon in Darktide comes close.
