I see this take the most, regarding tuning down crusher spam vs nerfing things:
You seem to have a different experience and I’d be interested in learning where you’re seeing all those posts that want just nerfs and no balance overhaul to enemies too.
The average poster I see here takes just as much issue with overpowered weaponry as with the ridiculous state of rotten armor and crusher spam
The krak grenade is, as I see it, a ‘break glass in case of emergency’ option. The game does spawn those emergencies in the form of crushers so often and in such numbers, however, it makes sense to take it. Deal with crusher spawns and then it might encourage players to opt for other grenades.
This is a veteran “discussion” on Fatshark forum and unless you repeat the nerf mantra:
You either know nothing about vet and you need to get gut
And if you put some time in it, as a rule the answer on that is “lol we found the Vet main” and that by definition means you know nothing about vet…obviously!

Keystones killed my love for the veteran… and Fatshark took 2 years to fix them… I had switched to an other class by this time.
Frag could get some love; a 45 second cooldown, or even shorter, would be an interesting option.
Ah yes, it’s not like frag grenade was meta just a year ago, with 90% of Vet players picking only that. And that was also the time when elites had less HP and elite packs died to 2 frag grenades faster than any amount of kraks, I wonder why frag feels worse nowadays, it must be solely the fault of krak rework!
Not to mention many underpowered weapons like autoguns or lasguns rely on having that kind of armor killing power to be viable and not an outright handicap.
-1 charge could be a fair change if devs also revert elite HP increase, but I’m not gonna humor it until they actually do it.
I have no idea honestly, but I have 1.5k hrs in total in DT, and I play all the classes. Though veteran isn’t the most played class in my book, I still played it for hundreds of hours in all base game’s difficulties. Also, for most of that time I didn’t use kraks in any of my builds of it. I only recently created one build for Expeditions that uses kraks. How have I killed crushers all this time you ask? Combat Axe, Chain Axe, power falchion and power sword, the shovel, any fast-firing weapons with Onslaught talent taken, Boltgun and Bolt Pistol - no problems at all.

Yea, Plasma Gun and Helbore as well - but I never liked weapons with pre-charging for shots required, so almost haven’t played with those two.
There’s nuance though, it’s unfair to portray it like people just want nerfs for no reason.
Here’s my reasoning: How can crushers ever be a threat if vets have this many regenerating kraks? For example if the armor spam was toned down and crushers only spawn in groups of 3 or 4, a veteran could just pretty much always remove them on his own. That’s not really great balance in a co-op game.
It stands to reason that one of the main reasons the game right now has to spawn consistently 10+ crushers is so the game can deal with krak vets, among other things (that also deserve a nerf with the same concept in mind). It’s the only way to ensure some of the crushers may actually survive so people have to fight them. It’s not really healthy for the game to have such a powerful tool.
I’d be way more interested in discussing what about this reasoning is false than accusatory pointless posting about who is on which side like it’s a soccer match. I’ve been posting this rationale for ages and I’ve yet to see anyone who opposes nerfs actually address this point directly.
I hope you mean actual counterarguments by “more” because that’s just an embarrassing tantrum for now. I laid out the reasoning, you can lay out why it’s false if you don’t agree.
I’m very interested in discussing it and I’m very interested in learning why my reasoning is off, the whole “I’ll disregard all your points because X” stuff is just tiring. I just want to know why people disagree but so far I’m only ever getting stuff like your post. The same goes for @Archon_Dagoth and @Rvl by the way, open invitation to actually tell me what about the outlined concept is wrong.

That is the problem… I didn’t even ask you that question and, somehow, you are playing god knowing what I’m going to do, answer or play the game.
Most players posting here only accept their own way of thinking. The opposite way you think you have the right of being rude and not polite.
And for a guesser guy you are not so good… I don’t spam kraks because imo that is not an optimized way to kill bosses.
I only use kraks to stagger bosses and kill them way faster with my weapon and deal partially with packs of crushers and bulwarks.
I said “partially” because until now I’ve never being in a position in havoc 40 that I had enough kraks to kill a pack of crushers only with granades.
And when I said “kill” a havoc 40 crusher I’m being optimistic. You can not kill a H40 crusher with a single krak without stacking 137,5% damage!
So “Granade Tinkerer” talent is not enough to achieve this and not all talents increase granade damage. Just a few players have builds to achieve that amount of damage without help of teammates. I.e. many veterans don’t achieve that damage even with teammates help!
Note that I’m considering havoc 40 because it is the worst scenario. In real life nobody build a house or make decisions considering good scenarios…
My conclusion is that we lack honest opinions in this topic. Just a few are reasonable and polite…
You need two of either Superiority Complex, Bring it Down, and Skirmisher on top of Grenade Tinkerer to Krak oneshot an H40 Crusher. Are two of these not in virtually every build?
