KNOWN ISSUE: Toughness Issues

Yes even basic enemies attack goes trough toughness even at 100%

I don’t understand the purpose of this change. Were they trying to make the game more punishing for getting hit? As it stands, right now, there is almost 0 benefit to taking +toughness or +wounds because toughness is basically useless and you’re going to get hit for 0.75-1 wound per scab, so it’s totally worthless. Why are regular enemies doing 19 damage on MODERATE DIFFICULTY. This has got to be a bug.

Confirming here.

Situation - Lv 30 Veteran with 314 toughness. With full (314) toughness hit once by an enemy on Uprising Difficulty.

Expected Result - Zero chip damage due to toughness being at 100%. Toughness to reduce at damage.

Actual Result - 21 HP Damage received AS WELL AS toughness drop. Toughness effectively negated.

If it was working as intended, it’d make the game EASIER. But since it’s bugged, it’s having the opposite effect.

If it was working properly, if you had 100% of your toughness, it’d fully block whatever hit you, only damaging toughness. Since it’d be 100% damage resistance for your health pool in essence.

If you had 75% of your toughness, there’d be bleed-through damage to your health pool which would be reduced by 75%.

Have they acknowledged it’s a bug? The patch notes are pretty clear on how it should function:

1.) " - Removed minimum bleed-through of 10% damage regardless of toughness on melee hits. 100% toughness now blocks all damage. Damage reduction based on toughness at the time of strike (So at 75% toughness, the damage is reduced by 75%)"

2.) “-if toughness is above 100 (veteran or anyone who’s stacked +toughness curios), they’ll still take damage.”

I mean I guess this technically means even if you’re at 200 toughness, you should still take 0 dmg. Which is definitely not the case.

Classic Fatshark. Claims to fix or change something and it doesn’t even work.

That is literally in the known issues section of the patch notes, so seems pretty clear it’s a bug

confirmed. It’s brutal. This warrants are FAST fix.

Yeah, can confirm. Given Vet is my main, this is genuinely painful. Can’t help but wonder what people starting fresh and picking that class feel - can’t be very good.

ohhh thats why when I went for a test rtun with nev bolter on vet yesterday I was ashamed of myself geting so many hp dmg & I even didnt realise it :stuck_out_tongue: with 3x 15% +4% curios for tougnes… I was like bbruh why I take so much hp dmg ;/ & I usually play now damnation or heresy :stuck_out_tongue: where ther is more things that want to punch you^ & punch harder^ not to mention gunners , specials , elites :stuck_out_tongue:

Please fix ASAP… Lvl 30 Vet here… so it’s game breaking !

So, I noticed that IF you have exactly 100 toughness bleed-through is working as intended. BUT if you are Veteran or have any toughness related curios you get a bleedthrough.
I guess it’s coded not to stop damage at 100%, but at 100 toughness.
Not surprised cuz there was a bug with displaying correct info on Zealot perks NOT showing % for some reason.

Issue should be fixed as of yesterdays Hotfix! Please let us know if you notice any further issues.
