I’ve switched over from Xbox to PC and I get these reoccuring issue with my tab (show Melk missions and penances etc) just not working any more.
The same with pinging (middle mouse/scroll wheel).
The keyboard is brand new and it works fine outside of the game, the mouse is ye olde but works too. It is very, very likely a game only issue.
It also works now after the game has been restarted.
I was right at the end of the mission this time so I don’t know if it comes back or if it “shuts off”.

I have changed my mouse since i opened it up in order to clean it to see if that could help, but I think i broke it in the process → bought a new one.
I don’t think I’ve had any issues with the pings since. And perhaps not with the tab either, but I have also been playing less as well since the mouse broke…
well weird as it is, I had the same issues a few weeks ago where my mouse would stop responding for 1-2 seconds mid-swing and the odd tab-key refusing to show the setting of the match.
I’ve had the same issue on PS5 with wired gigabit connection. Playing arbiter and suddenly unable to ping enemies. Less annoyingly I’ve also occasionally been unable to move camera or swap view to other players when waiting to be rescued.
Good to read that I am not the only one. In the middle of a mission tagging with the mouse wheel suddenly stops working. Really great when you play as an Arbitrator and you need to coordinate the attacks of your good boy… bought a new mouse in the meantime, same issue.
TAB and “ping button” still stops working. Don’t know why.
I can still use the TAB to “ALT+TAB” so there isn’t any keyboard issue. Mouse also works fine otherwise. Restarting the game solves (resets) it, but that is rather tedious.
