You know how some stat limits seem a bit arbitrary? Like 380 rating for white weapons, 540 for orange and +17% Toughness—which would make sense to be 400, 550 or 600, and +20% respectively?
Imagine if the intention was to let players grind for the best gear, then up those limits to 390, 570, +18% etc after 6-12 months to force players into re-grinding for ‘top-rated’ gear again. 395, 580, +19% in another 12 months. It would be similar to how World of Warcraft kept increasing the max level from 60 over time to bring old players back in/revitalise active players.
To be fair, the WoW example and the level increase from 30-35 in Vermintide came with nice content updates, and we already have perks/blessing able to go to +20% so it could just be conspiracy theory.
