It's getting hard to justify giving this company money

It’s getting hard. This is a fairly big company. It may not look it, they have around 200 employees. Not AAA by most standards, but definitely NOT small. I cannot believe there is no Darktide on PlayStation, and no mention of intention to do so. I just feel so shafted. I have bought and played Vermintide 1 and 2 at launch, and I honestly regret it in hindsight. Extremely slow updates compared to BOTH Xbox and PC, after a timed exclusive round even. Now, Darktide is either also timed for an entire year, they have not publicly mentioned a PlayStation port at all, we may never get one. Honestly, I am not sure I could justify buying the game if it ever does at this point. If this is because PlayStation player base does not spend enough money, it would be a self fulfilling prophecy as there has been clear preferences from the absolute start. I’m extremely disappointed in this company. Please note, I absolutely loved Vermintide one, Vermintide two was soured in the end by preferential treatment, but loved it nonetheless.

Everyone feels the same way, but many people still like to financially support them.

On a good track for their preferred platforms, maybe.

I reckon they had a deal with M$…but there are rumblings

I do not know why they would accept a scummy deal that says you cannot say you have the deal, and cannot say if the game will come to another platform. It had to have been really good money to throw away any good faith PlayStation players had.

May I ask, what are these rumblings?

I see, thank you.

More than snippets! Appears like the entire PS5 account system is in, as of the 1.4.0 patch.

But also, monopolies.

Then don’t!

That’s the best way to send a message.

I bought the game, bought a few cosmetics when I was having fun with it, and then that RNG wall hit real hard, between that and the utter lack of content Fatshark has put out this year, I’ve voted with my wallet and spent time and money on Helldivers II and DRG instead.

If the new crafting system doesn’t totally suck, that may change for myself, we’ll see, but you’re deffo doing the right thing if they’re not delivering what you’re looking for.

The new crafting system will suck mate. Suck so bad we wished for the old/current crafting system to be back.

Thank you for the better news friend. I hope I will overcome my disappointment, but not at this stage.

I want to like them more, that is the issue. But at this moment, I cannot.

Oh we’re way past that point

Next time just lead with this one instead of dressing it up into something it is not. No idea if you play the game on a different platform, but if you paid attention Fatshark aren’t having a great time maintaining two titles across multiple platforms atm. I dont think they need or can afford to expand to another for DT atm.

Well, look at that:

I dressed it up as nothing other than what it is, disappointment.

You’re threatening to not give them money because you can’t buy this game (for money) on PlayStation?

You’re going to fit right in here once the datamined PlayStation launch happens.

You do realize that there are other Fatshark games I can play and make purchases in, correct? I have refrained from any DLC purchase for my laid out reasons. That is why it is hard to give them more money.
