# INVESTIGATION: Poor Performance & Power Draw Issues Impacting AMD Radeon 6000 - 9000 Series GPUs

Hi all, I apologise I don’t have any new developments to share on this. I did inform AMD that the changes they made in driver version 25.6.2 were unsuccessful back in August.

To help bring more attention to the issue, I recommend reaching out to AMD as a player as well.

We’re aware some players have had success in working around this by disabling _SAM (Smart Access Memory)_, so we’re interested to hear whether this could work for any of you?
