For some reason after the new class update things were okay. When the hotfix rolled it destroyed my access to the game. Now i can’t even past sire melk. Game crashes to character selection screen with error 2001 prompt. I’m hoping for a quick fix. Thx in advance

Issue Description (Required):

Since the release of the latest DLC, I’ve been experiencing frequent disconnects during sessions — anywhere from 2 to 8 times per session. The error codes I get are 2001 and 2014.

Here’s what happens:

  • Enemies freeze and run in place
  • Attacks and pings don’t register
  • This can last up to 30 seconds
    Then I either get disconnected, or the game continues normally

Some details:
I play on the Europe server, but the issue also happens when joining sessions from other regions

I’ve checked my internet connection:

  • Using a wired connection
  • Average speed: 80 Mbps
  • Connection stability: normal ping with some packet loss

Tested Vermintide — no similar issues occurred

Error - 2014 in Havoc missions.

Issue Description (Required):

Since new patch, me and other teammates get disconnects with the same error during sessions which abort the Havoc missions.
With attached log it happened 3 times in a row.

Some other details:
The game freezes for 10 seconds and everyone gets diconnected to the character selection.
With an Arbitrator in the group chances to get this error are much higher.

Constant error 2001s. I can wander about in the starting area for one or two minutes before being disconnected. Haven’t been able to get into a game at all.

PC/Steam. Not using a cloud service.

USA/Cox Internet

Wired directly to WAP.

Constant. I’ve never been able to do anything other than the prolog and briefly wander around the start area.

No mods, vanilla game.

Error Code 3013, can’t log in what so ever needing something like 100 attempts to log in, as seen in the video just crashes out,

but i can still join mates in a lobby but can’t actually play with them similar i can access penances

Since the update the games unplayable on Xbox. You get kicked while trying to log in [errors: 2014, 1004, 4001], while trying to load a mission. Even just walking around the morning star you get 2014. And since purchasing the arbite severs are empty, so are we forced to play only with people who purchased the dlc? If so give me my money back.

Issue Description (Required):

Played with the same Arbitres player on the same map (mission). Got an 2014 error again but this time only few people crashed (can be only me). Mission continued but constant staggering and “high ping” happened. Once mission was over, I got an 1011 error and character selection instead of loading to the hub.

Not one but two 2014 disconnects within 10 minutes in the same game.
Playing on Steam in Finland, wired connection, isp is DNA, issue is consistent, every time i play i can expect a disconnect at least once.

I tried to disable all mods to see if they were related. Still got the error.

    I have been having issues for the past several days. Usually it is error code 2004 and I disconnect to the character select screen. Today, 7/1/2025 I have had numerous 2001 error codes. In one match it happened about 8 times. I disconnect then I select reconnect and re-enter the match, but it is laggy and I last about 2-5 minutes before I disconnect again.

  • Which platform are you playing on, and are you using a Cloud service (such as GeForce Now)?
    I play on PC and do not use a Cloud Service.

  • Which country are you playing from, and what’s the name of your internet service provider (ISP)? I am in the US and my ISP is CDE Lightband. Fiber connection with 1GB internet speeds.

  • How are you connected to the internet (e.g. wired, Wi-Fi, using a booster, etc.)?
    I have a wired connection directly to my router.

  • Is this a consistent issue, or does it occur during specific times (such as peak hours)?
    It is consistent. I have had it happen in the morning and evening. Weekdays and weekends

Issues still persist. My entire friend group experiences these errors. Normally one or two of us a match, multiple times a match. Most common error 2014. I’m modded. My other 3 friends are not running mods. All on PC. US West

A friend of mine still can’t play. He’s a town away and gets backend error 2014. Only main difference is he’s on WiFi whereas I am on ethernet. I run mods, he doesn’t. I am more Intel and Nvidia, he’s AMD. I am Windows 11, he’s windows 10.

He can reproduce with 100% accuracy, doesn’t even get to the character select screen.

Another Havok 30s map nearly destroyed by DCs; it’s almost every map we play now, and it really sucks the fun out of the game.
I wish FS would consider giving us a P2P option like in Vermintide, never had any issues there.

I’ve been playing this game since Saturday with no issue, but for some reason, as of today, every single match I’ve played I get disconnected just as we finish the mission. I get error 4001 and get sent back to the main menu without receiving any rewards for completing the mission. My friends are seeing the reward screen normally, and are levelling as expected, but I specifically get disconnected and get no rewards at all. I don’t suspect it’s a network issue because one of the people I’m playing with is my wife, and we are both hard wired to the same router.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. Start a game
  2. Play normally to the finish
  3. Get disconnected right at the very end before rewards for some reason???

Just happened again it appears. This time with “backend error” and my wife also was disconnected before rewards.
