this isn’t to say that psykers are bad, not at all, actually, i really like them a ton, i just think that they need more knockback and radius on their shout and that the starter shout should quell 20 and not 10. this is mostly because of the cliffhanger penance, but also because the starter stuff just feels WAY too underpowered, also, i think that there should be a force sword that basically just sends out a wave when you charge and swing it.
alright now for the potatos after the meat, private matches shouldn’t be just for when you have a friend with you and you wanna play without randoms, that [REDACTED] is more annoying than anything because not all of my friend have darktide and most of my friends who DO don’t usually play at the same times as me. so why not just let us get into private matches SOLO already? i feel like we should also be able to disable the bots as well, meaning that we should be able to play completely solo if we so desire, no bots and only the one player so that we can challenge ourselves and go through the missions without needing to worry about bots getting in the way of our shots.
okay, now for the icecream after the steak and potato dinner we just had.
i think that we should be able to customize the bots, it’d be fairly easy to do, i’m sure of it, just make it so that player 1 has their bot strike team being put to use while players 2 and 3 have to deal with it. the bots have plenty of weapons to choose from so i think that we’d have plenty of variety for the bots, there are also the classes and the talent trees which i feel like should be somewhat restricted so that it isn’t nothing but ogryns with heavy stubbers or psykers with the flying shards. the way i would have the bot customization is as follows: armory exchange → bot customization → menu with options of class, gun, and melee, class menu has the class selection, the way the operative looks, and the talent tree, gun has all the guns, melee has all the melee. there would be restrictions on the way that the bots look, the weapons, and the trees, but, thats how i would do things.

okay so i decided to clearify what i meant when i said all that psyker stuff, i just feel like the psyker starting ability should clear 10% more peril and should also push enemies back further and in a slightly bigger radius, not too much more just a small bit more. i also feel like the upgraded version of the starting ability for the psyker should push enemies back a bit more than it does now and thats it. i don’t want the psyker to get a new wife with the BFG-9000 or a giant mech that has unlimited health and lasts forever or anything like that, i just want the starting ability to have a better push back and 10 more peril clear while its upgraded counterpart has what it has now only with more push back than it currently has, nothing more, nothing less.
