# I cant launch the game :(

Its been a while since i played VT 2 , likewise since the last part of castle Drakenfels and the Grailknight. So i wantet to play again, but just atfer the launcher pop ups and i press “play”…the game crashes.  
All Mods deactivatet, switching between Directx 11 and 12 and even changing Thread count didnt do anything so far

I can see the error produced is `STATUS_DLL_INIT_FAILED`. Have you tried the _Verify Integrity of Game Files_ option?:

1. Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library sidebar
2. Select ‘Properties’
3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
4. Select the ‘Verify the Integrity of Game Files’ button. This may take several minutes
5. When complete, close and reopen Steam
6. Launch Vermintide 2

## All of your steps didnt worked D: Now im re-installing the game. Dunno what else to do… Even re-Install wont work. GUID: e3a7021c-d276-4217-b171-ce657f6c315b Log File: Info Type:
