We agree, Electrokinetic should be a single target focused staff. The issue with Electrokinetic just gaining damage on attack is it’s high rate of fire, very strong stagger and strong aim assist (though the aim assist is inconsistent). ### Balancing To compensate for a buff like the one suggested below, stagger on hit should be reduced dramatically against Ogryns. After being staggered once, Ogryns should receive stagger immunity against Electrokinetic for a period of time. Also, base charge time with maxed out _Charge Rate_ stat should be increased from .84 to 1.5s. ### Damage To give Electrokinetic stronger damage against single target and more consistent target acquisition, I believe it should receive the Brain Burst targeting mechanic with a similar visual cue indicating the current target - perhaps with an electrical flair. Upon releasing full charge, the bolt would seek the Weakspot. Now Electrokinetic would also be able to hit weakspots and take advantage of those weakspot damage modifiers + powerful weakspot damage buff through DD (37.5% at 15 stacks).
