HOVERING / SLIDING AROUND- instead of walking - how is it possible and why is it allowed?

You still can, maybe the timing changed but I can show you when I get home.

Any specifics to that?

Brilliant! ty for this, I cant wait to try it out (sadly I will be unable to for a few hours at least)

@PSI2007
The trick seems to be, to me, in the turning back on yourself while doing it @Harridas ?

You use the emote during the turnaround animation, might take some tries but you’ll find the timing for it like in the video.

Got it work. Not sure why I spent time dedicated to doing this.

Shift+W. Soon as possible at initial start of sprint, not when full stride, like the first step of run animation.
Whilst Shift+W still held. Quick succession hold T, flick mouse to emote and let go of T, all in less than 1 sec.

Because you’re based?

I’m jealous of how hard this guy’s meme game goes. Peak chicanery. Considering all the enemies don’t care about hitbox size only dodge state and it looks like normal speed I don’t think there’s much exploitive about this. I played a Medal of Honor game forever ago that had online where it was possible to be in regular move speed or even sprint while crouched and that was definitely obnoxious and an advantage because it was PVP. Here he’s just trying to be the dwarf they cut (or the squat we’ll never get).

It reminds me of people being quick to suspect malware when something unexpected happens, while very often it’s actually a bug or even typical behaviour of their OS that they didn’t know of.

Indeed, your level (or hours) only says something about how often you played, not how good you are. There are so many players with high level characters who play like they only started yesterday.
