How is it allowed… within the game engine..?
I like Scoreboard, Ping, True Level… but what sort of MOD is that? or cheat?

Honestly the fact that our Zealot having an Ogryn voice doesn’t even get commented or goes unnoticed on really shows how incredibly terrible generic player characters are for Darktide compared to unique playable characters like in Vermintide.
Seriously, the player characters just blend in and create white noise throughout the entire game because they have no character.

I didn’t notice it either XD. I use Zip It personally, Il prob turn it off for a week or so when the new class drops. But yeah, big fumble on Fatshark’s part when they had a formula that worked in VT. Hopefully Alix Wilton Regan’s lines are good too (recently announced for one of the arbite personalities), Elf was peak.

I also have seen players moving around in a frozen attacking or blocking state quite often lately.

Just a visual glitch only. Team mates have said I am floating, bum slide walking but from my own perspective it looks normal.

Look closely… he’s done it all round… simply hovering or sliding on floor… but mostly levitating.
It’s really lame how many people automatically turn to blame mods
for something that is either a bug or just part of normal gameplay.

Meanwhile, in Vermintide 2, I’m still hearing/noticing new banter/lines after ~500 hours.
Did The Hungering Dark last night as Necromancer Sienna and either never noticed or never had the audio pop up where Sienna basically sweet talks the bomb cart throughout the mission as it, like her, brings about fiery devastation. Additionally, I’ve heard the banter between Bardin and Sienna where Sienna ends with “Thank you, Bardin! I guess all those years as a Battle Wizard really paid off!”, but until last night I’ve never heard (or noticed) that Markus will also comment about how Sienna, as a Battle Wizard, had saved the life of him and his boys more times than he can count (I assume he’s referring to pre-End Times)

Yeah, it’s a BUG & has nothing to do with mods (or cheats).

i love these two guys aside from the voice thing im sure the sliding is just a cosmetic issue i dont think it provides any benefit

Allowing hacked clients for scoreboard, “true level” (mostly used for griefing and harassment) just opens the doors to other cheats.

It will be visual only, but the difference here is they have likely worked out how to replicate it consistently or that it keeps happening and they find it funny.
For a while you could run around the Mourningstar while locked in an emote but they patched it out at some point which is a shame because I loved nothing more that doing the open arm roar as oggy and sliding around the level select console.

Aww man I haven’t done it in a while. Just tried to do it and can’t anymore 
It was fun to slide in circles around new players causing confusion and start conversation.
