They continue to destroy the game patch after patch…

Putting 72 shotgunners is not a solution… except for Fatshark that believes it…

but thats fine, you can just dodge them, linger time applies to ranged now too so its even easier

72 dodges… may be an instant stamina replenish…

Stutter and general lack of smoothness seems to be fixed, but the hotfix broke me so badly i can’t trust my judgement on it.

Can you please confirm that it is a reasonable to think so and i’m not suffering on some wishful thinking placebo effect? Thanks o7

I don’t think something that is “fixed” meant it was a bug

A bug is determined when something is not working as expected through coding

The code in specific had a check for “is_melee”, but maybe they designer and the coder had a miscommunication, so when the designer found out it only works with the is_melee criteria, it was reported for the coder to remove that limitation

This does fit the Fixed criteria, but not exactly that it was a “Bug”

This is exactly what happened here…

Nimble was killing players instead of protecting them. You may think it worked correctly, but I tend to think that the talent was not.
Sure it was working good in melee… and was kiling you against ranged attacks.

never once killed me :person_shrugging: , it didnt ‘cause’ anyone to die, if you dodge and start getting shot then dodge again? or get behind cover, or i dunno use the infinite ammo immunity to all attacks build and be just fine

No it hasn’t, people have done testing and looked at the code to identify the problem, if you’ve been using it this whole time you probably never noticed the difference when playing without it, this is just feelscraft.

and i know exactly how the talent has worked since the bug report, when Kuli explained how the buffs worked in the comments, and ive continued to use Nimble since then because its a good talent. and i can literally say the same thing, people looked at the code and explained how it worked, and ive kept using it cause i like it

and what about Hive Scum’s Nimble talent making dodge worse?

it seems like it was “fixed” for ranged only, but still got unresolved issues with melee

the only ‘issue’ is that it makes you dodge faster, its just a part of the talent, it would need to be removed for it to not be an ‘issue’, or just dont take the talent i guess

Did they manage fix the performance iusses that’s happening for 3 months now or they don’t even bother to fix it

I don’t see anywhere in the talent description saying “you dodge faster”, so it shouldn’t be “a part of it”.

yeah because a lot of talents in game have confusing descriptions that dont get explained, you have to read guides to learn that kind of info

i can just keep uploading these screenshots that explain it all pretty well though if needed

they buffed dodge linger time to work for ranged now

It seems the time window (EDIT corrected the word distance by window… this is the time that you dodge that seems to be reduced) is STILL not fixed.

(I have put this guy on ignore list… he just wants arguing to argue)

Again, I don’t see it saying “dodge faster” or “shorter” or whatever you’re trying to say.
