WOULDN’T IT BE TOO AWESOME IF THE SKAVEN ABOMINATION WOULD BE PLACED AS A BOSS THAT MAY APPEAR IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR RUN? UwU
IT WOULD BE AMAZING, AND ALONG WITH THIS DLC THEY COULD ADD OTHER RATS TOTAL WARHAMMER 2 ALONG WITH ABOMINATIUwUN
PLS ABOMINATION SKAVEN, PLS MORE HARD GAME PLS
UwU
Seriously though, a massive rework of the bosses is surely due. Adding something like an Abomination, or an actually functioning doomwheel would be pretty cool. (They’ve even got the model ready. )
Hellpit abomination is way out of u5 powerscale
Not to mention its massive even when we compare it to a rat ogre. Unless its some map specific boss encounter I don’t see how fatshark would do it justice by just making it a regular monster encounter.
Don’t worry Sienna’s next career weapon will be something like a melta gun which will one shot papa nurgle himself.
Maybe if the Hellpit Abomination was a boss fight on the same tier as Nurgloth instead of a reoccurring enemy. Those things are sooooo much bigger than a rat ogre.
That said, make skaven the main antagonists again. Chaos has had the limelight for several DLCs and going to dominate Darktide. Gimme rats.
Yes! I want that!
The Doomwheel where it’s charging in a wheat field and you can’t easilly see it, then you fight it by making it ram into thing before disabling it and fighting the Warlock Engineer
it doesn’t exactly have to be a hellpit, it can be like a new mob that looks a bit like it like ‘‘slave abomination’’ where it’s an abomination a little bigger than a vanilla boss and is controlled by a moulder clan mouse like that blind ogre with thorn balls in place of hands from the movie the hobbit and the battle of the 5 armies
stormfield should too, but it doesn’t have to be an abomination just something that looks a little bit like…
there is a phenomenon called rat king, which is when rats’ tails get stuck together, it could be a mini abomination formed from skaven slaves and called that
The only thing I would think would be possible is fighting in the distance, or background. We seem to always come up on the destruction, but to see it happening at a distance, even if for a second, or maybe they are random events that only happen once in a while would be cool. For example, Doomwheels charging by while we 5, or 4, run in a trench underneath.
The immersion would be epic.
Actually its not out of the U5 powerscale. The U5 are far stronger than even the average hero in Warhammer. If the games lore is true, then the U5 alone killed at least a whole army and is currently ravaging through the second one. A Hellpit Abomination already struggles to defeat a whole army. Thats just the official lore, if we count V2 mods as part of the lore too, then the U5 are part of the strongest characters in Warhammer Fantasy. We wont count mods though, but that doesnt matter, because the official lore has already shown that the U5 are above many others in regard to power.
Whole army at once or whole army fought in skrimishes as guerilla team hmmmmm yes indeed its same. And U5 already show that they are merely on average unnamed hero level
You could argue with them being on the Unnamed Lord level
Yes, it is indeed the same. Because killing hundreds of enemies when going through a destroyed city is not really compareable with small skirmishes. Thats actually an extreme case and very few named characters would be able to do the same. Grimgor never did this and yet he is the strongest named character in Fantasy.
Not to mention, that the U5 have critical knowledge about the ruinous powers and that they were even somewhat in contact without getting warped to whatever. That is huge, considering that at least the vast majority of human civilisation doesnt know something like Chaos even exists.
What? That orc literally battled under karak ungor against clan mors and moulder until he was close to the gates of hellpit itself.
(Hell Pit) Abomination are now really on a fixed power level, most of the time they are failed experiments so a smaller Abomination could work, same as a Mutant/Augmented Ratogre
Cousin Okri would kill a hell pit abomination by himself.
With his army. He did basically everything with an army.
Sure and when the greenskin army first routed in face of Throt the unlceans strongest rat ogres, Grimgor just parked himself in a narrow tunnel and slaughtered them all.
You can say a lot about U5:s power but Grimgor alone stood against multiple rat ogres who more than likely were far more deadly than anything we see in vermintide 2. He is an absolute badass even by himself.
