Hey CM can you please give me your Dev teams feedback on blue Stim?
Blue Stim: gives enemies 80% damage reduction + 200% stagger resistance with unlimited duration (until death)
What’s taking so long to update a numeric change to pox gas/blue stim so it’s not immortal enemies?
Why has there been a blatant immorality glitch that hasn’t been fixed For over a month (pox gas + blue stim)?
Is havoc of any importance right now?
We can wait we just want answers or communication please?
Why can stims combo with Rotten armor and healing modifiers?
Let me provide some examples:
- Blue stim ragers: rager can already lunge like crazy and with the new health pools are pretty tanky themselves. Now factor in blue stim
you can’t stun them you can’t kill them quickly so what’s the counter play? Now add in healing modifier, they heal with the 80% damage reduction now factor in havoc 40 wave of enemies… I’ve had 4-5 blue stim ragers healing and tanking killing us all one by one as we run out of dodges or stamina to try and even kill one. - Healing captain with blue stim bulk: the bulk hides in the captain bubble and if you somehow manage to hit the bulk it gets healed not even a full on Krak with max tinker damage can kill it)
Blue stim + rotten armor: you know what’s worse than an overhead train? A blue stim overhead train, now they can hardly be stunned and are nearly immortal (they are immortal with pox gas). - Blue stim fodder enemies: imagine a little non elite gunner shooting right next to you and you hit it in head with melee which almost always kills it but it’s still alive and shooting you. So you hit it again… it’s still alive you shove it.., it’s still shooting blue stim gives it stagger resistance… This is a fodder enemy a poxwalker there’s countless waves of them at all times. This is just one shooter now multiply this by howmuch ever Havoc 40 spawns and get blue stimmed. You dodge a mutant, dodge an overhead. You’re out of dodges and see a little gunner go for the kill but you can’t because it’s blue stimmed. You slide dodge to go to safety but the little guys still shooting you adding on to the pressure and you’re taking chip damage permanently… what’s the solution here? What’s the counter play Devs? Why can any enemy inject blue stim even non elite?
Conclusion/TLDR:
Havoc stim modifier needs change please take the countless forums made about it as proof of this. Blue stim is insanely unbalanced and not fun. Yes I’ve beaten it countless times but it’s a lot more rare with random teams and quite frustrating there’s no counter play. Thanks Devs for giving us a new modifier but please you guys said you’d balance more, I beg of you as a Darktide Enthusiast!
