Do you run with mods?
Yeah, I use things like TrueLevel, scoreboard, numeric UI and the one that swaps crosshairs. Don’t use things that move around the hud and stuff.
Do they make it easier? I don’t run with any mods but judging by what some people say, some mods in DT can drastically change the gameplay experience…which doesn’t really feel right in an online game imo. If it was solo then would make more sense to me.
Depends on the mod. I’d consider numeric UI QoL (altough it does show dodge count and knowing exact ammo values on allies is benefitial). Crosshair swapping is on the border, because it does make hitting stuff easier with plasma (plasma crosshair sucks).
What makes the game definetly easier is stuff like healthbars, spidey senses (I guess? haven’t tried it), and whatever moves hud around.
Personally I find Healthbars close to cheating, it’s a night and day difference.
Edit: Oh and some people use macros I guess. Which can be anything from QoL (for K12 so you don’t have to click every shot), to definitely cheating.
Some mods can make the game easier, things like the HP Bar mod and the one that tells you the direction of specials. However, a majority of the mods are QoL stuff like being able to access each npc station without walking, mass buying and selling items back at Brunt’s, spawning/despawning and turning on/off enemy behavior in the psyk.
What are you on about??
Auric malestroms and aurics have broken event spawns most of the times.
They are to easy and you can just stroll trough them.
Maybe you where just lucky and played when spawns worked as it should.
Lol it hasnt been tweaked, and there are definitely a lot of things that need nerfed (power shovels, power knives, plasma) I dont even play with a premade, i play with one other person at most and still win the majority of matches. I am an average maelstrom player at best, also. So it is definitely doable.
