# Game refuses to launch after Shader Cashe building

**Issue Description:**  
When trying to launch the game through steam it goes fine till after the shader building phase but afterwords the game says its running but you can wait 30 Minutes and it still wont launch

**Error Displayed (If Applicable):**  
No error appears whatsoever

**Steps to Reproduce:**  
Press play  
Launch game  
Building shaders  
And them nothing happens (i havewaiting for over a hour and nothing popped up)

Once - Rare (\<10%) - Unusual (\<25%) - Common (\<50%) - Often (\<75%) - Constant (100%)

I have done the Appdata fixes I’ve seen and it didn’t work and i have delete the folder multiple times already and my drivers are all up to date.

Could you please try launching Darktide directly via the .exe (as opposed to via Steam), and screenshot any errors that appear?

The path to the Darktide.exe should look similar to this: `Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer 40,000 DARKTIDE\binaries`
