# Game doesn't start since the Expedition Upadate

### Issue Type (Required):

Crash - on Launch

### Issue Description (Required):

Since the Expedition Update I can’t enter the game anymore.  
The launcher opens, the shader cache loads, and then nothing happens anymore.  
While Steams says the game is running.

I have used mods in the past, deleted everthing and reinstalled the game three time by now.  
I tried everything I found here in the Forum and in others. Disabled Steam Cloud Saving, deleted the Darktide Folder inside AppData/Roaming/ and repaired the files afterwards.  
Tried several launch options, started the game as an admin, tried a selective Startup…

My last idea was to try to play the game via Game Pass, and this actually worked.

So now I wonder is there maybe a Steam realted Problem or with my game Account?

How strange! Could you please share your **darktide\_launcher.log** with us, so we can look for any anomalies there?

1. Press the Windows key + R
2. Enter `%appdata%` within the search input and select ‘OK’
3. Navigate to `AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide`
4. Locate the `darktide_launcher.log` in this directory

Afterwards I tried parameters, but not before the crashes happend.
