Game crashing at startup

Hello there,

I am encountering a crash I can’t solve myself :
On a brand new computer (freshly bought and installed), the game just won’t launch. Don’t Starve Together did work.

Here is the error log

Stuff I checked :
Verify integrity via Steam
Restart the PC (after every step)
Graphic driver update
.NET Framework 4.5.2 installed
C++ Redistributables installed

I may be missing something, but I can’t find any post giving me more clues, so here I am…

Hi @Syndreia

Looking at your logs, I can see it’s setting your GPU as Microsoft Basic Render Driver, and it is not picking up any other GPU.

Assuming it should be, what GPU do you have?

Well you’ve helped me find an issue. The seller of the PC didn’t check that everything was OK, the GPU isn’t detected. Didn’t expect they wouldn’t do their job properly…Sorry for the issue.
I’ll need to fix stuff and have a talk with the seller, this isn’t a game related issue.
