### Issue Type (Required): Other ### Issue Description (Required): The game will immediately crash after pressing ‘Play’ in the launcher, if Darktide is patched to load mods. This happens even when NO mods are actually loaded = when no mods are listed in mod\_load\_order.txt. This started happening after updating to hotfix 53. The game loads fine when it is not patched to load mods = after using toggle\_darktide\_mods.bat to unpatch. I am running the latest version of the Darktide Mod Framework. I have verified files using both the Darktide launcher and Steam. ### Steps to Reproduce (Required): Install Darktide Mod Framework Update Darktide to latest version = 1.5.11 (hotfix 53) Run toggle\_darktide\_mods.bat so that you get “Darktide is now patched to load mods” Press ‘Play’ in the launcher. Your file fixed it. (I have overwritten a previous version of the file.) I will keep Nexus/Discord in mind for future problems. (I assume you are involved with Darktide Mod Framework.) Thank you! ---

I’m experiencing this issue too. Well, I guess it’s time to uninstall Darktide until it’s fixed. ---
