Game crashes when Headshotting Chaos Knights with the new Crank Gun

Every time I have used the new Steam-Assisted Crank Gun (Mk II) against a Chaos Knight/Warrior and landed a couple of headshots, my game crashes to desktop.
After testing multiple times this only happens on the Chaos Knights.
