I would say Communion is a whole new map, the other 2 carnival maps skew the average by being longer.
Isnāt like ~half (?) of it a reverse layout re-use? Itās a decent enough map but it feel a bit rushed. All the original maps are way too heavily re-used, that hub system that was seemingly abandoned.
Weāre starved for new maps we are!

it feels like the areas for dark communion are grafted on because its mostly catwalks and overlooking the gross not so cliff areas that destroy any illusion of the hive city with laziness. most of the rest of throneside are areas that are just more detailed and masonic architecture than the rest of the game. its jarring and really breaks with the established art style of the zone for no other reason than ādark heresy cloud on the horizonā. thereās even wider public street vendor areas which are totally out of place considering the rest of the hab doesnāt have themā¦this isnāt where proles hang out and conduct their daily routines! this is where the politically connected live.

Me when I like complaining. Also Orthus Offensive? I never went back that far in my mentioning of content the maps I mention here are Dark Communion, Rolling Steel and Clandestium Gloriana. Orthus Offensive came out in December of 2023.
Sure, but iām right in my complains. Two years, still no core things that was in V2 on release.
Doesnāt change the fact itās a dead piece of content.
