Revert the size increase to boss enemy’s collision box. Shorter weapons have to mash their face into them in order to reach.
What change are you referring to specifically?
Several patches ago the collision boxes of monstrosities were increased to the point where there’s now an obvious invisible wall around them. If you have a weapon with shorter reach, you need to constantly sprint into the boss to be able to reach.
Agreed. Anything but ogryn weapons or two handers just doesn’t have fun against monstrosities now. It’s not a matter of difficulty but more frustration and just straight up not being fun to fight now.
The most notable of the problems is the Chaos Spawn invisible dump truck ass when going for backstabs. Like OP said, only was introduced about 6 months ago at this point.
Yeah that change almost single handedly changed the Chaos Spawn from my favorite boss to least favorite boss.
I love chaos spawn hitbox being so big 50% of its attacks just push you away before they even hit you.

Is that accurate? I don’t remember seeing this in patch notes, so I assume it would be a stealth change. I don’t use short weapons, and I haven’t noticed this myself, but there was always a certain level of “invisible wall” feeling around monsters and bosses. I always found it quite annoying.
