I am a havoc 40 psyker player and don’t like playing inferno staff in regular havoc games. But after this new patch. I noticed that psyker got a quelling delay in havoc games. That makes my strike staff, blast staff and surge staff totally unplayable. Every time I quell, I must spend at least 3 seconds to make my peril truly get reduction. But it only needs one full charge to make it back to critical peril again. And I never find it in new patch note. You must be crazy to make this shadow nerf. The truly strong weapon inferno staff can infinitely cast after using peril reduction talents. But the weak three staves has already become unplayable in havoc game. Even if I use venting shriek. I still need half of time to repeat endless quelling. Besides, I also need to block and dodge to survive form tides of enemies. That will often interrupt my quelling action. That all makes my staves almost unplayable in havoc games. What makes you do this shadow nerf? Have you ever tested games before launching new balance patch?
Have you ever tested what the quelling delay does effect to other staves? Or your wish is to delete all the other staves except purge staff from this game? @FatsharkQuickpaw
While Purg does need nerfs, this was a not a mechanic that was meant to be in the game.
Here.
It’s likely some kind of bug this effect is super inconsistent
That’s because someone mentioned about it. Just like if I don’t tell you. You will never know Fatshark raised vanguards’ HP back to near 2000.
They should remove vanguard, nothing is more annoying than brain bursting a chaff guy 3 times and maulers twice for no talent/keystone rewards..
The sprint cancle has nerfed it pretty hard already.
I’m able to get like 90-95% of the dmg only when I use to with the additional 15% warp dmg but then the extra time quelling as it takes WAY longer to start quelling has gutted a lot of the flame Psyker dps, Zealot true dmg is pretty dam close when they chunk a boss for 40k in a single hit.
The mind in motion, anticipation tax to get Empathic evasion, and just AWFUL placement of Empiric Resolve (worse perk in all of darktide) has the psker taxed quite hard with the additional 2.5% crit chance lose (doubled soul blaze stacks) psker is this updates biggest looser even with the Hive Scum’s Rampage Nerf.
I think people still hating on blue flames are just being biase elitist at this point, even with it still being one of the best wrapons in the game that’s ONLY due to the infinite cleave and ammo but you really have to work at it with mobs like Mobian 21st and Rampaging, lord help you if you get both of those at once, even venting they’ll be super in your face tough.
Zealots the clear winner in this update. And I don’t even think they’re getting a full 4 sec of burn from ability use as intended right now.
I don’t think fixing unintended exploit should be count as nerf lol.
I also think people that think it’s fine are bias, or blind.
only due to infinite cleave and ammo ![]()
These biased elitists. There is nothing overpowered with having infinite cleave and ammo!!!
In this version’s havoc 40, they have 3000hp. That means you need to spam 3 times full charge of surge staff to kill it.
