# Error message whenever leaving the Keep, then CTD

Looks like your installation is incomplete. Please try the _Verify the Integrity of Game Files_ option:

1. Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library sidebar
2. Select ‘Properties’
3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
4. Select the ‘Verify the Integrity of Game Files’ button. This may take several minutes
5. When complete, close and reopen Steam
6. Launch Vermintide 2

I’ve done that twice (Three times now, did it again after this reply.) Still not working.

In cases where the errors continue to occur even after using the _Verify Integrity of Game Files_ option, we consider it to be persistent data corruption - which can unfortunately occur for a number of reasons.
