I was wondering how the game defines these criteria. Because I can testify with 100% certainty that I got “Mass Destruction” with pauses in between firing, but keeping the barrels spinning all the time, while “Targeting Calibration” doesn’t seem to trigger when you kill a special, an elite and a monster when you pause during firing (though both times, i killed a stormfiend and it might be that, since it doesn’t have Monster armour class, but armoured iirc, the challenge might be not triggering because of that).
Update from my own findings: “Target Calibration” indeed means “hold left mouse” as “activation”. BUT: If you hold right mouse and left mouse, you can get hit and interrupted and still get the challenge.
