You mean you dont prioritise elites already? Or unless you mean elites with low hp? Is it supposed to be some hidden knowledge that elites should be targeted first? Or is this some imaginary situation where somehow in a train of specials and elites youre going to go out of your way to target some dying elite that someone is already dispatching, hence the lowered hp?

Of course the same elites/specials with lower hp you id__. Kill the lower hp first so yo can eliminate immediate threat (specials/elites with the same threat level).
If there are 3 dogs running at your team, which one you attack first? Usually the closest, right. What if you can see that the other two right behind it have 20% hp? You can easily kill them quickly with range, now you only have to dodge once.
Are you stupid? Have you seen 5+ mutants spawning at the same time and all running at you? What about a group of 5 Crushers? During the kite you know exactly which one you or your team already damaged? Perhaps two of the Crushers only need 1 more heavy headshot to kill, with the mod you can easily tell which one to eliminate first. If you don’t have the mod, you may have to kite a while.
Honestly, tell me your reason for using the mod? What is it?
Moreover, with the mod, players can make a much better judgment.
Should I reload now, or is it enough to kill the elites/specials in front of me?
Should I risk killing it real quick, or should I play safe and continue kiting?

Lmao in that scenario where youve successfully determined which of the dogs are low, they are all easy picking for guns, which by the way is not possible because dogs move so fast and the hp bars dont show up unless theyre actively taking damage, so youre already dodging or pushing by the time you recognise them as dogs, or your teammates are already shooting at them. Really, 1 dodge? Wow, thats gonna give me green circles.

Now this is something, and im going to inform you that regardless of the hp bar mod people who are equiped to deal with crushers will remove them all in a timely manner anyway. Its not gonna change the fact that it will die sooner or later. Yes, removing a crusher with 20% hp is a good thing to do, its not gonna make the other 2 crushers who are about to overhead you any less of a threat, because you should ALWAYS prioritise enemies who are about to close in on you, not some mauler in the backline.
Ive already mentioned i dont use the mod. Rather, i turned it off because it was cluttering the game for me.
The last two points you bring up are precise reason why some people should consider the mod, if anything.
Again im still confused why youre so avert to players wanting to ‘improve’ (as little as the hp mod helps in that regard). I dont get why a mod that you personally dont want to use should be banned for others. Bad players are bad regardless of this mod.

You, on the other hand, seem to think that there is a correct opinion to have about this (which has to be your own obviously, that’s just how that works) and that somehow anybody else only needs to hear your superior morality and then they have to be convinced or they chose to be wrong despite knowing that they are not.

At the end of the day you just seem supremely upset that someone dares to want to use a tool because they think it makes them a better player - In a PvE game that natively has no scoreboard.
That is one reason why this should be stock and accessible to all players. Like BFC pointed out, the average random teammate needs all the help they can get.
Doesn’t have to compete against none. If the game doesn’t come with the option, using the mod to make it easier is cheating. You want it easier, you use the mod just like other types of cheat. It’s not as severe but it is cheating nonetheless.
And it’s no longer cheating if the developer adds it as a QoL feature for everyone to use. If you feel it makes the game too easy for you, you are able to turn it off.
You could say the same for literally any proposed feature that improves QoL, that it’s “cheating” because the developers, in their infinite and infallible wisdom, did not add the feature at the game’s initial moment of creation.
I kind of want to do a bit of a test and play with a group for a few games and tell them that i may or may not have the healthbar mod on, and see if they can figure out when i am using it or not.
