# Discord ceases to work sometime after livestreaming

Crash - During Play

### Issue Description (Required):

When I stream through discord to my friends, randomly discord will stop working, I can’t hear anybody and can’t talk. If I try to reconnect I get “RTC Connecting”, and using Task Manager to force close discord, Darktide will then crash. Only happens on Darktide. Temporary solution is turning off Discord Hardware Acceleration. Hoping for a fix.

Yes, but I haven’t tried disabling them

Hi, I’ve gone through every step of troubleshooting and also went through a few of my own (Disabling steam overlay, turning off MSI Center, changing discords audio subsystem) and I still get the crash. Is there anything else I could try on my end?

Thinking about it, I suspect this is more of a Discord issue - assuming Darktide performs as normal _without_ streaming on Discord?

Darktide does preform normally yes, I suspected it to be a Darktide problem initially due to it only happening with Darktide; every other game works fine. I’ll look through some discord troubleshooting and support. Thanks for the help!
