# Disconnects During Gameplay

**Issue Description:**
The game is nearly unplayable, any attempts to play it is met with countless error messages and disconnects mid session. Over my play time most commonly I saw error codes 2001, 2003, 2004, and 4008 I beleive. The most common thing that happened during game play is my enemies will desync. They wills stop moving, stop dying, and fail to act properly. Sometimes they will start to drift away into the air. Not long after this, my game will disconnect me. Sometimes after reconnecting it will be working, and I can go on without issues, othertimes after reconnecting it will repeat this issue. In addition to these ones I can see coming there is random disconnects where there is no sort of sign before hand that it is going to disconnect. Fortunately, the game allows me to reconnect, so I can keep going, but I will crash again in a bit.

2. Navigate to the medical station before Burnside
3. Crouch-slide into the dumpster next to the blue and white Tertium sign

4. Locate the console log that corresponds with the session in which the issue occurred, by looking at the timestamps in the log names
5. Upload here
Do not know which one exactly, however this one should have issues as it happens every game

So happy to read this, simce the last patch its completely unplayable. Cant even load into the hub without a 4008 error. I got to level 13 withiut much issues, but since then i cant even load into a mission. Im running a 3060ti with a intel i5 dual core

The issues were resolved shortly before the full release for me, the game is completely working now

You have _perfectly_ described the issue I’ve been encountering since the last big patch (the one after the class revamp patch).
**Issue Description:**

quite literally the _exact_ same behavior I’m encountering

1 . play the game, seriously, just playing the game for 5-10 minutes triggers it in every level, even just being in the common area with the vendors seems to ‘trigger’ whatever this issue is

The latest patches just ‘narrowed down’ the error to only 2001, it seems. I’ve already done everything I can find to try and fix it from my end; reset networking adapters, firewall off, VPN off/on, physically different network adapter, re-ran the cabling from the box outside to my modem - there are zero indications there is an overarching networking issue on my end that I can find.

I haven’t played between my last post and just yesterday, so two big patches and no idea which did it, but my connection appears to be consistent with Darktide now.
I’ll update with more logs if I run into this again.

I came back to play due to the recent updates, and found the issues persisted.
I’ve tried everything; disabling IPv4, changing my NIC (two on my computer), firewall and vpn options on/off entirely, the ONLY thing that worked is directly connecting to the modem. I’ve changed every setting I can find on the router and when the router is in play, this happens. It’s not a terribly old or ‘bad’ router, Asus RT68U, but I’ve had more than one issue with it and wonder if its just a bit wonky/flawed, not the model in general, but my particular item.
I’m going to get a new router and see if the issue returns or not.
