I’ve never had it until recently on one evening, but then very persistent even after a reboot. On the next day, everything was fine again. 
I installed Bazzite this passed weekend and I couldn’t be more happy about it! Darktide runs much better for me than on win11, unbelievably so!

That’s the best way to be happy with Linux. While it’s similar to Windows in many ways, it’s sigificantly different in others.

I’m grateful for Bazzite, but I’m also puzzled why Darktide performs so well on Linux over Windows.
It’s a complete 180-degree difference.
I can even run with Ray Tracing enabled and sit comfortably at 90-100FPS in Auric Maelstrom.
My PC:
- i5-13400f
- RX 9060 XT
- 2TB nVME m.2 SSD
- 16 GB 3200mhz DDR4 Ram
I don’t use Ray Tracing because I’m not a fan of the tech, it’s not AMD’s strenght, and I want to play at max FPS, but I can, which is the point; but, it wouldn’t function as well on Windows.
I’m just curious why that is.
I am sure that, if Nvidia cards had better drivers or the game better linux integration, I would be in same position.
Unfortunatelly, I can put ray tracing at max with everything at max (something I cannot do on Windows) and get more than 100 fps. However, the game crashes at random.
So my conclusion is that it works better, but the integration is not good.
I don’t have such problems with the other games, where linux, obviously, works better than windows.
But as I tend to play less and less darktide… this is less important.

What are you playing right now, if you don’t mind me asking?
As multiplayers:
Arc raiders mainly… This game has pve (hard) and pvp part (and every time it catch me by surprise…).
But I have also on my computer Helldivers II (mainly because my son loves to see my playing it) and Aliens fireteam elite (not sure I will continue to play it).
I want to jump into Species Unknown, I just have to find the will to do it.
I have also Arma reforger installed that I must try seriously.
On a different gameplay, I play also Elite dangerous (but my last trip in Deciat was a nightmare… I am very bad at pvp and I have been annihilated several times).
About games with a real story:
I am actually playing (again) cyberpunk 2077
I have also Horizon Forbidden west to complete, AC shadows (50% completed), star wars outlaw (75% completed).
On the RTS part, Broken Arrow
About strategy games: TW Warhammer III while waiting for the TW Warhammer 40k.
