Crashing when changing difficulty in CW lobby

Issue Description:
When I attempt to host a lobby in Chaos Wastes lobby, my difficulty is stuck at “Cataclysm 3” and whenever I try to change this, the game crashes.
I’ve tried to reinstall (also by completely removing the install folder), removing all mods, going into modded realm where Cata 3 is enabled to change it there and letting the launcher rebuild the user_settings.config file. I’ve had this issue for months and can’t resolve it on my own unfortunately.

Upload Console Log:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs
  4. Locate the console log that corresponds with the session in which the issue occurred, by looking at the timestamps in the log names
  5. Upload here

Upload user_settings.config:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2
  4. Locate the user_settings.config in this directory
  5. Upload here

Hi @Yellowraven,

Can you please try deleting your save_data.old file from the Fatshark AppData directory?

  1. Press Windows + R
  2. Enter ‘%appdata%’ and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to Fatshark > Vermintide 2
  4. Delete the ‘save_data.old’ file
  5. Launch Vermintide 2 as normal

Hi FarsharkLev,

Thank you for the suggestion, however the problem remains. CW map selection is still on Cata 3 by default, and game crashes when I change it.
