# Crashing on Startup

Keeps crashing when starting, tried C++ Redistributables 2015  
GUID: 224f1399-4dee-4596-919b-47dd174e58b1

Also had it crash during the changing gamma screen when clicking the mouse.

The crashes you’re experiencing are called _Access Violations_, which are (in our experience) caused by something local 99.9% of the time. You may want to try running through the solutions listed **[here](https://en.kundo.se/org/fatshark/d/how-to-resolve-access-violation-crashes)**.
