after downloading 130Gigs ALL DAY i do NOT want reinstall. how the hell does is miss a file? and how do i fix???
i have tried every recomended fix, from updating all my drivers and my windows, downloading windows c++ bulshit, and validating my game files on steam, disabling steam overlay, ecs
You are talking about PhysXCooking_64.dll, right?
The file should be here: (at least on my install)
Warhammer Vermintide 2\binaries\PhysXCooking_64.dll
My usual (and often successful) approach on such errors:
Is the file there or actually missing?
If the file actually exists and is just somehow corrupt you could try deleting that very file and verify game files again. Steam should detect the file is missing and download for you a fresh copy.
Admittedly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen this particular error before. DatDing makes a solid recommendation above, certainly worth trying. Keep us posted.
