Just going to point out a missed opportunity by devs using color/pattern locked to model like in vermintide
Whole point of cosmetics is to show off your epeen, if something is buyable for real or ingame currency it will not be as “valuable” as something thats earned through achievements
Not really bothered by the fact that there are cosmetics that can be bought for real money, but why not have a hybrid system, where you could apply colors or patterns on any cosmetics (and have some of the “valuable” patterns/colors locked to achievements)

Truly,
Imagine being able to have a skin base and a color template you could apply.
Instead of picking from 20 different skins ( talking about future perspective of people who buy every single piece ) - you select one of 3-5 bases and then select out of reskin plates.
Imagine liking a recolor but base you don’t like and then being able to just take that recolor and use with base you like etc.
