How do you figure? I dont see it in the base game. Now if its mods, etc. Then thats not what Im refering to.

The Twin mission isn’t leaving, it’ll stay

To add more loadout pages, click on the small + symbol on the right side of your character’s loadout screen.

The only annoying thing is that every time Fatshark has added to or changed something in the skill trees, your builds will reset, but hopefully they are done with the skill trees for now.

click the little button on the right edge of the screen when in your character loadout little man. it’ll make an additional loadout and then you can change it.

Why not? Pox hounds should not be a death sentence neither should being caught in a net, especially if caught outside the party. Of course there should be a high penalty for being caught in either or. I dont understand the strenounce objection

Yes they should. That’s entirely the design in the first place and its a sensible design intended to force players to play with the team and not go solo. Its been this way since Left 4 Dead. Disabling specials cannot be made into damage with extra steps enemies without disrupting the entire flow of the game. Now maybe it needs to be disrupted, we can have that conversation. But we’d need some kind of clear vision for what the game gets out of that.

You like Stalker/Monster Hunter/ don’t you Squidward? If you haven’t played them, you might look into it, as they’re a lot closer to what you seem to be after with the whole repair, recharge, and resistances thing. I mean, we do have curios which are essentially the same thing, providing benefits and resistances and do play a part in buildcrafting.

Darktide really doesn’t fit the whole preparation game thing though, lying near the other end of the spectrum as a matchmade arcade hacknslash horde slayer. It eschews extreme preparation as a form of skill in favor of moderate build understanding paired with individual capability in moment to moment gameplay. That same capability directly translates into why you can’t really shake dogs off yourself. The qte to avoid that was when it pounced at you and you needed to push or dodge it (glitchiness not withstanding). Failed? Down and out. Succeeded? Gaming. All without even a lick of item dependency.

Leveling already provides stat boosts both in terms of perks and little things like health and Dr depending on the class. All the little nodes that aren’t perks do that. Weapon skill also falls under personal skill tbh, almost all weapons are pretty up front with what they do, and any confusion I’ve ever had melts with a little psykhanium testing.

It sounds like you’d rather be playing Fallout 76.

Implementing maintenance mechanics for gear into darktide would be a pointless addition to the game loop. It isn’t a survival game. I don’t see why having the effectiveness of gear be dependent on factors outside of the mission and gear would be an improvement.

I’m being a semant, but you have five actually.
