Constant out of memory crash

When i start the game and load into the mourningstar memory usage keeps crawling upwards and after 3 minutes it’s out of memory and the game crashes. It’s a fresh install of the game, steam files are verifyed. No regular crash report window appears only the window that says out of memory. I attach the console_logs below.

I have 16gigabytes of RAM which according to the steam store page should be enough. The crash also happens if I change all video settings to minimum.

where you changing settings prior to crash?

is your SSD at the brink of being full?

Thanks for the reply. I only get the crash after choosing a character and loading into morningstar. I can acces the video setting from the character select screen.

There is 300+ giga left empty on the ssd.

DX12 asked for more committed/private memory and windows failed to commit another 2mb. thats why i asked if your memory is full.

anyway since it failed with enough space i recommend to check if auto allocation is active

win + R “sysdm.cpl” hit enter advanced/performance/advanced and check for “Automatically manage paging file size for all drives”.

Thank you so much for the help. Auto allocation was activ. I set it manually to allocate more space as vitrual memory from some drives, do you think that would help?
