Unfortunately the weight of losing is too heavy because of the 3 strike demotion system which has forced a toxic approach from players.
It is the fault of FS for implementing the system and there will be no way to fix it without FS removing the demotion system.
After all, it’s easy to remove a demotion system than fix natural emotions and reactions within all humans.
Re the report feature - I believe it does nothing.

Removing that particular rot is easy. Keeping it out - not so much. As long as there is incentive for developers to create an "us versus them” and “must grind more” mindset among the players these sort of play-or-decay systems will keep wiggling their way in like a hookworm. Like that parasite often its not noticed until the damage is already done and the cure will do even more damage.
Ounce of prevention.
