# Can we have something that costs Diamantine, but not Plasteel

I never run out of Diamantine and the total amount I have just keeps going up more and more over time. There is an imbalance in resource gain/use right now. It honestly is funny how I just skip picking it up nowadays.

Agreed. This is apparently a problem from V2 that they forgot about and should have known would crop up. In there, they solved it by simply letting you convert one to the other.

If they’re not going to do that, they need to make diamantine something that lets you upgrade weapon modifiers, blessing tiers, etc. Or lock breaking.

Lock breaking or upgrading item bar stars for diamantine would make sense. But failling that just being able to convert diamantine into plasteel would also be useful since we need plasteel in huge quantities.

even just being able to selling it for credits would be huge
