I got some black or grey squares, depending on the situation, appearing on the screen whenever I pan my camera in an area where shadows are visible. I think it happens most frequently when I go from a lit area to an unlit area.
They appear and disappear in a second but stay on the screen if I look at the right angle.
Here, on the screenshots, they are on the left. There can be a whole lot black squares or just a couple. Sometimes they are continuous, sometimes not.
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
-play any map
-when playing ,black square will appear for a slipt second where there is shadows

Hm, it could be a corrupted shader cache. Can you please try the following:
Step 1: Disable Steam Cloud Saving
If Steam Cloud saving is enabled for Darktide, this may automatically restore the AppData and consequently cause the issue to resurface.
- Navigate to your Steam library
- Right-click Darktide
- Select ‘Properties’
- On the ‘General’ tab, scroll down to ‘Steam Cloud’
- Disable ‘Keep game saves in the Steam Cloud for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide’
Step 2: Delete AppData
NOTE: By deleting your AppData, operative loadouts and custom keybindings will be reset. You may wish to make a back-up of the directory in the event deleting your AppData does not work to resolve the issue.
- Press the Windows key + R
- Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
- Navigate to:
AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
- Delete the entire ‘Darktide’ directory
Step 3: Verify Integrity of Game Files
You will then need to use the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option, which is accessible via the Steam client and will ensure the installation is complete.
- Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
- Select ‘Properties’
- Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
- Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
- When complete, close and reopen Steam

Edit : it seems the fix did work , i will run some game tomorrow to conlude.

I am sorry but it seems i was wrong ,there is some black square still appearing after the fix even though it seems it is less frequent.
@reaverbad ah dang! hm, it may be worth uninstalling your current GPU drivers using a dedicated removal tool e.g. DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and then reinstalling clean GPU drivers.
Please note, if you have an AMD GPU, the two latest driver versions are suffering from crashes, so the latest stable version is 26.6.1. If you don’t have AMD GPU, please disregard this 
i did a unintall and reinstall of my GPU driver.
i tried fully uninstalling darktide and deleting at the same time the roaming fatshark file.
Sadly still no luck , I got the black squares popping up.
i tried fiddling with the graphic setting to see if there was one setting who could be responsible or alleviate the problem but no luck

Otherwise, what are your GPU temps? Could it be overheating?
I ran the check; some files were corrupted and were reinstalled, but this didn’t seem to have any impact on the bug.
I took a screenshot of a place in the hub where I can reliably trigger these artifacts. My GPU does run a bit hotter than it should, but I believe it’s still within acceptable parameters.
