Anybody else want more abhumans?

“lose abhuman status”? being abhuman is not a status, its a state of being.
Either you are a mutant or you arent. Did people (in-universe) just start pretending they were simply unbelievably ugly and hairy humans or smth?
Even if they were fully accepted and stuff, they are still be a sub-race of human.
One cannot stop being abhuman just as one cant stop being asian.

Abhuman is a legal status.

Psyker for example don’t follow the guides of being Abhuman, and thus shouldn’t be considered as such (Being Mutants)

I know it’ll sound very very racist, but think of it like this:
In a country there are 2 classes of citizen, with Abhuman being the 2nd one, then after a time, certain subsection of those Abhuman are deemed to not be such, but to be something worse (in the case of 40k, mutants), and then losing the status and becoming free to oppress.

Kinda like a certain time period in Europe :skull:

Were they not human, no, but they weren’t considered as such.

As in post 8th edition pretty I’m 70% sure there has been a piece of lore saying that it’s been elevated to Imperium level.

So there’s a lot more chaos beastmen now and thats how they justified the kill team set for them.

Yes yes it would be sooo much fun being a Ratling! Imagine being smol and being able to go through all kinds of tiny places, and run really fast, and you got a Long-Las that’s exclusive to your class! Sounds like a dream to be true! xD

Nope.

As much fun as being a felined or ratling would be, I would hate to see the mockery of them that would land in Darktide right now. As far as I am concerned Fatshark needs to get their heads out of their rears long enough to fix the mess they made and put in the stuff that was supposed to have been in at release. Then hire a competent QA department, give it near-Commissar levels of authority, eliminate the mockery that is their “community testers”, and get a proper test server running. Then they can think about adding new classes. If they sign a legally binding contract to give at least 5 months of real testing by the playerbase as a whole before finalization.

Because I promise you this. Right now if a new class gets added they won’t have new abilities. ObeseTuna will just take another class’s stuff then either buff it to hell before giving it to the new FOMO generator, or nerf the original into the dirt to “encourage” players to “try” the new character that just happens to require rebuying the cosmetics you already had.

Because that’s what they did with VT2’s Premium careers…

Extremely disagree.
I’d much rather have a very chaotic and frequent updates, rather then sterilized and extremely rare updates.
Chaos is fun, so what if the new class is super OP in the first week or 2, it makes it extra fun when it launches.
